Verify the course
Provider authorization and qualification level matter separately from a course advertisement.
Opportunities for individuals and organisations
Connecting Global Talent. Plan recognized education and authorized employment in Malta.
Compare recognized study, employer-linked work, independent activity and short visits in Malta. South Asian applicants should verify the provider, course level and employment category before paying or travelling. Employers can discuss international candidate preparation around the actual contract, qualification requirements and the relevant Maltese authorization process.
Not every course has the same student conditions, and enrolment does not create unrestricted employment rights. A Single Permit is linked to the authorized employment rather than a general right to work for any business. Check current Identita instructions, institution fees and application requirements; older summaries may use previous agency names or financial figures that need fresh confirmation.

Choose your Malta journey
For individuals
The institution, intended qualification and work activity determine the preparation needed. Use current authority checklists rather than assuming a course or job advertisement guarantees residence.
Check the authorized institution and qualification level before enrolment. Higher-education study and other courses can have different visa, residence and work conditions. Request the actual tuition schedule, insurance requirements and financial-evidence checklist, then follow the current Identita and consular process. Provider acceptance alone is not a residence or work decision.
How we can help
Review the actual employer, role and employment authorization, including the Single Permit where applicable. Official guidance distinguishes the right to reside from the work activity specified in the authorization. Do not assume an offer, approval stage or permit lets you work for unrelated employers. Qualifications and sector-specific checks must be assessed for the proposed position.
How we can help
Independent work requires an activity-specific eligibility and authorization assessment. Incorporation or passive ownership is not automatically permission to live and operate in Malta. Confirm current authority requirements, business resources and any sector conditions before financial commitments. Historic investment thresholds are not quoted here; temporary meetings should use the appropriate visitor process instead.
How we can help
For short Schengen visits, check your nationality, intended purpose and competent mission. The stay allowance is up to 90 days in any 180-day period across the area, subject to visa conditions. Prepare funding, insurance, accommodation and departure evidence. A tourist or business-meeting visa does not provide ordinary employment authorization or guarantee later residence.
How we can help
For organisations
Discuss Maltese hiring around the employer, position and current employment process. Candidate sourcing support does not replace the employer application, qualification checks or authority decisions.
Clarify the actual vacancy, qualifications and category before coordinating international hiring.
How we can help
Discuss profile review and evidence preparation while keeping employer submissions and candidate duties clear.
How we can help
Explore a defined relationship with a legitimate employer or authorized provider; no partnership or placement is implied.
How we can help
Workforce process
Coordinate the Maltese employer application and candidate evidence around current policy, not an assumed permit duration or guaranteed start date.
Agree role, credentials, language and proposed contract terms.
Check employer, position and current authorization conditions.
Align employer submissions, qualification evidence and identity documents.
Confirm the actual authorization to work and all required arrival steps.
Why Malta
Provider authorization and qualification level matter separately from a course advertisement.
An employer-linked permit is not unrestricted permission for unrelated work.
No guaranteed admission, hiring, immigration decision or unconfirmed partnership is offered.
